EALA has passed the Supplementary Appropriation Bill for FY 2025/2026, allocating USD 4.74 million for pandemic response, trade, fisheries, climate resilience, and youth entrepreneurship. The Committee flagged over-reliance on development partners (88% of funding) and retrospective approvals. In the same sitting, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga laid the USD 110.9 million EAC Budget for 2026/2027 before the House.
