71    (1)
If any Member desires to delete or amend any provisions contained in a Bill as reported from the Committee of the Whole House or to  introduce any new provision in the Bill, he or she may, at any time before a Member rises to move the Third Reading of the Bill ,move that the Bill be
recommitted either wholly or in respect only of some particular amendment or amendments .

 

(2) No notice of the motion is required and if the motion is agreed to, the Bill shall stand so recommitted.



(3) When the whole Bill has been recommitted, the Committee shall go through the Bill as provided in Rule 67.



(4) When the Bill has been recommitted in respect only of some particular amendment or amendments, the Committee shall consider only that amendment or those amendments and any amendment which may be moved to them; except that the Speaker or the Chairperson in his or her absolute discretion, if the amendment or amendments proposed are of a nature that he or she considers that course to be necessary or desirable, may require the whole Bill to be considered as provided in sub-rule (5).

 

(5) At the conclusion of the proceedings in Committee of a Bill recommitted, the Member in charge of the Bill may move “That the House do resume and that the Bill (as amended on recommittal) be reported to it” and the question on it shall be put without amendment or debate.

 

(6) If the motion is agreed to, the House shall resume and the Member in charge of the Bill shall report to the House and the House may then proceed to the Third Reading of the Bill as provided in Rule 70.
