→ One Laptop per Child (OLPC)
: We aim to provide each child with a rugged, low-cost, low-power, connected laptop. To this end, we have designed hardware, content and software for collaborative, joyful, and self-empowered learning. With access to this type of tool, children are engaged in their own education, and learn, share, and create together. They become connected to each other, to the world and to a brighter future.
→ Pan African Parliament
: The Pan African Parliament was established as an organ the African Union (AU) in order to ensure the full participation of African peoples in the development and economic integration of the continent. The first Parliament was inaugurated on 18 March 2004 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and its headquarters is in Midrand, South Africa.
→ East African Court of Justice
: The East African Court of Justice (the Court), is one of the organs of the East African Community established under Article 9 of the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community.
→ African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF)
: Established in 1991, the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) builds human and institutional capacity for good governance and economic development in Africa. To date the Foundation has empowered governments, parliaments, civic society, private sector and higher education institutions in more than 45 countries and 6 regional economic communities. ACBF supports capacity development through investments, technical support, knowledge generation and sharing across Africa.
→ The Association of European Parliamentarians with Africa (AWEPA)
: The Association of European Parliamentarians with Africa (AWEPA) works in partnership with African parliaments to strengthen parliamentary democracy in Africa, keep Africa high on the political agenda in Europe, and facilitate African-European parliamentary dialogue.
→ Westminster Foundation for Democracy
: Established in 1992, WFD is an independent public body sponsored by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The organisation provides expertise in developing parliaments, political party structures and civil society organisations – the key institutions that make up a functioning democracy.
